Hey! My name is Matt, and I am a sports journalist and storyteller. Currently, I am a student at the University of Missouri - Columbia pursuing a degree in journalism with a sports writing & reporting emphasis and the lead San Antonio Spurs reporter for Spurs on Sports Illustrated.
I find it intriguing that in the world of professional sports, it tends to be forgotten that athletes are people, too. I intend to explore my interest in sports further throughout my career, using my skills of interviewing and writing to report on the true character of athletes and tell stories that otherwise would not be seen.
